Design as a tool for identity.. or alienation.

My name is Dilara but I like Dilar better. Also I gather my creations under the name of Outernet.

In my works I try to understand belonging, what it is and what it means to us.  As a non-architect thinker I investigate space, thresholds and boundaries. I take experimentation and research as a base for all of my creations.

Doubt as a Superposition captures the interplay of insecurity and vulnerability that accompanies my creative process. When I create, I carry with me a persistent sense of doubt, a hesitation that prevents me from fully believing that what I’ve made is truly meaningful.

While I deeply cherish the act of creating and the things I produce, sharing them with others takes immense courage. It exposes my insecurities, making me feel vulnerable. Yet, I see a kind of beauty in that doubt. It grounds me, keeps me humble and authentic. This is why I hope anyone who views my work, particularly my digital art, takes a moment to consider the emotions behind it. I invite viewers to approach my creations with empathy and an understanding of the tension between confidence and uncertainty that shaped them.

The concept of doubt as a superposition symbolizes a state where all possibilities coexist and remain equally valid. For me, the questions of whether something is good or bad, meaningful or insignificant, dissolve into a continuum where these judgments align. In this space, every possibility exists on the same plane, their distinctions blurred into a singular, unified state of potential.

I’m open for collaborations and commissioned work.
